Default New guy to the cummins forum

New to the forums here but love reading all about dodge diesels, just can't learn enough about them. I have a 2004 2500 with a amsoil cold air filter, 50 hp injectors, full 4 inch exhaust, and a smatry jr. programmer. Love all the power and wouldn't give it up for anything. Just wondering though, been hearing about 03 and 04 dropping valves at high miles. I've only got about 149,000 on the truck and just getting broke in. But i was just going to ask if there is a magic number when the valves should be replaced so I don't spend more money down the road? Thanks for looking and planning on posting more.
