I dont know if this is the right place for this (if not someone can move it) but, we have a 2000 2500 with 17k on a transmission and modified a bit and we are having problems finding close to or rust free body parts like a cab. The floor completely fell out of it last year and now the door quit shutting. i didnt know if anyone knew where to possibly find one or have the same problems that has found a solution. Thanks

*Edit* We only need a Regular Cab. All the other parts are bought.

 

Only hope is junk yards,craigslist part outs and ebay. You can check for part outs here and on cumminsforum along with some other forums. 2nd gens are 10+ years old already so its hard to find them in good shape especially if you live north. I had a hell of a time finding a clean truck like mine. Best piece of advice is dont let a little bit of rust scare you some can be cut out and new metal welded back in if it needs to be.

 

Ok, Thank you. Your Right at being over 10 years old. We are in Ohio and the Truck is a Michigan Truck so, i see the pain in it. I'm glad i wont have to on my 1997.

 

cumminsforum has trucks being parted out in its classifieds a lot.

 

I saw that and posted it on there Jigabop. the Hard part to believe i went through all the pages and only kept finding quad cabs. The only thing that is left to get for it is a Cab. We pretty well got everything else for it
