i just installed a long block from black water engines it says i need to prime the oil pump. im new to this can someone help me out with this and what i need to do to break it in thanks

most cheat and unplug the fuel system relay circuit. then just crank the engine over till you see oil pressure, put the relay back in and let it fire up...

(pulling the relay disables your lift pump and injection pump)

Likely going to throw engine codes but that is easily fixed using the key trick or a scanner... (cycle key 3 times to read codes, 4 times to clear codes)
