Hey all,

I just for the first time tried the exhaust brake and not sure what to expect. I can't say I saw any differences from using either step. Tried it at speed of about 40 mph, let off on accelerator an guess I was expecting a noticeable reduction in speed but all I got was a normal slow-down.

Most effective when in tow mode.

It's been a while since I got rid of my 08, but if I remember right tow mode will downshift through the gears.

But then again I had an H&S Black Maxx with the Overdrive software for a while (day and night, AWESOME shift logic) and then the Suncoast TCM when I rebuilt the trans, so my mileage may have varied...
