Default Brake calipers leaking

2014 w/less than 50k miles and both rear calipers are leaking like crazy. Enough that the inside of my tires are soaked. Dealership just says too bad they won't do anything. Anyone else have caliper leaking issues?

I just bought the truck from the same dealer, used in May and it had 37k miles. The only thing I've ever towed was my 22' Cobalt. I've never even had it off road.

Dealer really said too bad? I'd find another dealer. Warranty?

The warranty expired at 36k miles. I just can't believe both rear calipers are leaking so soon.

Replace them with quality aftermarket calipers.

Are you sure it's your calipers and not your axle seals?

Just throwing it out there.

It is the axle seals. Hibdon quoted me $600. Madness

Never done axle seals before but I've heard they're not too bad on these trucks of you are mechanically inclined.

I'm sure you can find a diy if you do a little digging.

Good luck whichever route you choose and thanks for posting back what it turned out to be. So many threads are one and done.

No problem. I took it back to the dealer. Turns out the seals are still under warranty! So it was fixed for free!

Just curious, did they cover it under powertrain or bumper to bumper?
