I have a 2012 2500 outdoorsman, could not get the 4x4 to disengage 2 days ago, tryed every combination with transmission with no luck. After restarting the truck finaly went back to 2wd. Needed the 4x4 again today but got a service 4wd message in the dash and it won't let me shift in 4x4. Thinking it might be the shift motor I went under the truck to give the motor a few knock with my hammer, but then saw this (look at picture) Anyone else had this issue????????? The crack is on the driver side of the transfercase.

Ya i'm at 90 000km and have the extended warranty so I'm good up to 150 000km.
