Knowing Saleen, which is after-market (not production, ie not built by Ford) they will have a few different models. If you look on their website you will see that this is the case, varying levels of the truck (Different packages)
Ford needs to get their SVT group up and running respectable again. Then again from a financial standpoint maybe it is better for them to have Saleen do the fun stuff for them. http://www.saleen.com/s331_sc_specs.htm |

If you have a regular cab SRT-10 and you have driving skill then you will pull ahead of a saleen but it would be tough for the QC

How do you figure that? 5500lbs and 55hp less?Look at the gearing and it has larger tires than the SRT-10?
|
I raced one in my bone stock QC, we ran the 1\8th mile off an arm drop. He got me on the launch, but I pulled him by about a truck length by the end. Nice looking truck, but I fear the tundra trd supercharged more than any f150.
|
is the trd that fast?
dosnt look to be a fast truck. mabe just a sleeper look? |
the supercharged Tundra is quicker to 60 and faster in the quarter mile because of the 4 wheel drive launch, but it doesnt have the top end that the SRT-10 has:icon_nic:
|
so the trd's are faster than the srt-10's
i would never have believed that |
Yep, alot of cars and trucks are faster than the SRT-10 in the quarter mile. It wasn't built as a drag vehicle. It is a good, fast all around truck. It can corner, seat 6 confortably and has a top speed of 160. what more can you ask for?
