Just bought an 04 srt 10... Got problems! help!
Hello, Im Paul, I had a hemi but wanted more.
I bought an 04 SRT10 reg cab with 35k on her.
TEst drove it 3 times and all was prefect, immaculate condition, all stock.
well i just put it over 36k... no warrenty now... and the problems have started just 300 miles over the warrenty period.
Problems=
Extremely poor idle, gets stuck at 2k and wont drop, then suddenly goes to 500 and almost stalls out.
when cruising the engine cuts and skips.
Engine feels alot less powerfull than a few days ago.
tried removing the air hose to the TB and sprayed in TB cleaner (dodge told me to try that) but it hasnt cured it. I also have a engine light on so im guessing its a bad sensor??
Anyone have any idea what i should be looking for? i REALLy dont want to pay a VIPER technician 4million dollors for a job i might beable to fix myself
Thankyou

1. Do not clean your TB while on the truck.
2. Most likely a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).
Use this DIY to get the code stored in the computer since you said you have a check engine light. Post the code and we can stop the guess work
