well have a bad leak in my power steering system and have been told by many that dodge has put another inferior part in the truck. The dealer told me that i would have to replace the whole rack, est 1,500.00 for parts, is there any after market replacements? i have slowly learned that all factory parts are crap, any ideas, or anyone know of site that has higher quality?, every thing around the motor i have replaced with aftermarket until this happened.

$1500 for a Rack and pinion? Go get a reman from your local auto parts store. Much cheaper and just as good if not better than what you have now.
