Gear Ratio's
 

Question for all. Would anyone happen to know the gear ratio's for an 04 RC? If you know great or know where I can get the ratio's from al well.... great. Im looking to rework all the gears and my searching has turned up next to nothing. Thanks.

Not sure about the tranny, but the differential on a 04 is 4.10. Differential on 05 and 06 are 4.56.

I thought the o5 / 06 rc's were 4:10 and the Qc's were 4:56. Am I wrong?

I think you have bad info there. all 04s are 4.10 and all 05/06 are 4.56.

Other differences of the 04 vs 05/06
Knock sensor not in the 04
Brakes, bigger in 05/06
Badging changed every year. 04 had Dodge in the tailgate, 05/06 have the Ram head. 06 SRT badging different.

Then of course in 06 you got a new interior and refreshed exterior, which is just carried over the the Ram line changes.

So my 04 has 4.10, great thanks. Do you also know what size gears are in the trany or the rear end ot what?

4.10 is the rear. I do not know the ratios of the tranny.

You have a Dyna 60 (I think) rear. You could look up Dyna information and find the ring gear size. I think it is about 8.75" or something like that.

It's actually a Super Dyna 60. I changed mine from 4.10:1 to 4.56:1...much better!
