Glad you did not start tearing into any wiring, and that it was the injector cap pin receptacle. I do remember bending mine to grab the pin tighter, and scraping the connection areas of any varnish and adding a little di-electric grease.
I am still curious about the z1 circuit's polarity, and might update this thread the next time I remove the dog house.
One thing you might want to check as a preventative maintenance is the wires leading to the tranny and that they cannot move around in the slipstream and chafe. If I tell you why I know this, alloro will get far too exited.
