improve performance and tune up
what can i do to my van to improve performance and do general tune up stuff?
plugs, wires
what plugs/wires work best on these? would rather pay for quality
i daily drive this van 70 miles a day, 5 days a week and it has 187k on it. it is a 1996 glaval primetime conversion dodge 2500 van with the 3.9l, v-6 engine
does it have a distributor or is it coil packs? what brand is best to replace it? i think i read somewhere about aluminum contacts are trash, go with brass/copper?
what about cleaning sensors or cleanign the throttle body? or similar
i do have an issue with it running horribly at half a tank or below, and i have researched that issue, and all points to replacing the fuel sender. i plan to clean the tank out as well when i do that.... what brand would be a good one for that?
