I have a 98 B1500 van, v8; while cleaning the battery posts (little corrosion) the starter "checked out" on me and I replaced it. Now the vehicle turns over, won't start. There's no spark going to the engine. Cuz I was low on gas, thought that was the problem. Filled it up w/ 4 gal; then noticed that the gauges don't even work when the power is on ie. the gas gauge should go above E. Any ideas as to what's going on???????
