Unhappy '87 Dodge B250 Keeps stalling out.

I have a 87 dodge b250 van 318 V8. It will start and idle fine and back out of the driveway fine. But when I put it in drive and give it gas it spits and stalls and dies. any clue on what it is and how to fix it? Big Thanks

Have you tried varying the amount of gas you give it in Drive, to see if there's a difference?

With the engine off, if you look down in the carb and open the throttle, do you see a good stream of gas shooting in there?

Sorry about that but took the carb in the guy tested it. It was in need of rebuild bad. It seems the last guy that did it didn't do it right. He told me if it go's out again in the next yr he will fix it.

So is the problem gone?
Did the rebuild fix the issue?

ok New Fuel Filter just got the rebuild on and when you give it gas it tries to stall. Ok any clues guy plz this is my work van. I have been off work for too long. When you give it gas at about 1/4 of the way down it starts to spit and tries to die. But if you hammer past it it picks up and runs. hope yall can give me some way to go here thanks.

It starts easier and runs smoother when it runs. So it help but didn't fix it.

If you're reasonably sure the carb was rebuilt properly the next thing to check is that your ignition timing is set right.

Again, with the engine off, check in the carb to see if you get the strong stream of fuel when opening the throttle quick.
