Left Head Replacement

It appears that the 3.6 Engine has Head problems. My 2012 Ram C/V is now in the shop for Left Head Replacement. Dodge had sent me a letter a few months ago extending my Engine warranty to 100K based on the Left Head issue.

Engine was running rough with pronounced misfire. Engine light came on and off for a month or so and then just stayed on. Code reads dead # 2 cylinder.

They say it will take a week to fix. Based on what I have read from other victims, it could take longer just to get the parts they need. This is a big problem for me. I bought the Ram C/V as a work vehicle. I have all my tools and generator in the back and I had to offload tools to my loaner Caravan. This is a big pain in the ass!

The #2 is the front most cylinder on the right side. Replacing the left head will not fix the #2 dead cylinder.

I see that now. He's talking about a caravan with a 3.6L motor, not a full size van with a 3.9L motor.
