Started a weekend repair that got out of control. Turned into 14 Months full time restoration complete with over 25 pages of documentation.
Finally the finished product.
(really tested DW patience).

 

Round headlights and 4x4

 

Funny thing about those headlights;
Been a while since I had to replace them.

During work on van I broke one, so went to pep boys. Asked at parts desk for sealed beams. They had no idea what I was talking about so I explained headlights.
They took me to light aisle and showed me all the new little bulbs....No sealed beams.
Went to Oreilley auto entered store young guy asks what I am looking for I respond sealed beams...blank stare from employee, old guy behind counter yells that I am looking for headlights. one set on shelf only they are HID. not what I want finally just went on line and bought from rock auto !
