Default Help asap transmission problem

Just changed transmission filter and gasket. Cleaned pan and magnet. Put everything back. New atf4 fluided. No leaks. Transmission feeling off gear. Suggestions? And please note by what I saw in the old fluid this looks like its first transmission fluid change. And its a 98 dodge ram 2500 van

Define "feeling off gear". That's too vague of a description.

Default Define off gear

From 0-40mph. Sometimes it takes a few seconds more than usual for the truck to accelerate. Reverse is almost nom existent like Im in neutral. At high speeds from 45-60 or more the engine sounds like its over accelerating and doesn't adjust. Feels like its over working itself to stay at certain speeds

I assume it was working perfectly normal before the fluid change?

Default Before change

Before the fluid change it was hard to shift but everything was working fine except for one thing. From 0-40mph truck hesitated which is why I thought a fluid change might be needed

Well, I changed the fluid and filter on my truck, and the next week had to have the transmission rebuilt. Hope yours is not going to be the same thing.
