1997 B2500 V8 5.2L Service Manual Search

Hi,

I'm recently the proud owner of a 1997 B2500 van and I'm looking to get my hands on a service/maintenance manual if there's one floating around. If not, I'll grab one off eBay. Any recommendations?

Factory service manuals are always the best. I find Hayne's is always missing the electrical diagram I'm after but they are helpful.

PM me and I'll send you the link. But in turn I need a big favor. I need a few pics of the evap canister. I'm in california and if I fart wrong I won't pass the smog.

I just rebuilt the heads and did the full intake coils cap pumps and the damn thing wasn't idling and I found the evap can was missing. I plugged the tube and it's running tops. It's a weird hose with an inlet/outlet on the same connector.

Thanks
Isaac

NorCalB2500,
Will your link help me with a '92 B250 5.9L?

Brian

Any chance I could grab that link too? Got 2 cylinders misfiring on a big road trip & am slowly learning to become more mechanically inclined... need the correct gap!

Autozone will have the Haynes manual. This manual covers 1971-2003 models, all three engines (3.9, 5.2, 5.9), includes specifications, and images

https://www.autozone.com/ignition-tu...nce/579284_0_0

Part number 30065. $23.99. If they don't have it, they'll have it shipped to store asap.

Trouble with the haynes manuals is, the wiring diagrams are pretty much worthless. Factory service manual is the way to go.

Best bet is to check EBay, see if they have one for download, or on CD.
