Default Some problem concerning the DODGE B250

Good day fellow Dodge B series drivers,

i have three questions:

Can anyone tell me wich year my engine was build? I want to know this because i want to order parts. For the casting numbers see the picture.

How hard is it to change the control light for the head light beam? What do i have to unscrew?

The cruise control is not working. Where do i start and does anyone have an electrical diagnosis chart?

I have too much end play in my steering wheel. It is about 2 inches.
Can i adjust this and how?

Is the 318 tunable or will i just throw my money in the river?

When the AC is off there is still a really cold airflow coming at you from under the car where the pedals are mounted.

Thanks for replying. Have a great weekend.

Engine casting of my 318 with TBI

Hi there, the chassis is from 1978 and i was told that the body is from 1980.

I was told that the engine is from 1990 but i am not sure. It has TBI and the engine casting number is shown in the picture.

I'm having trouble making out some of the numbers. Can you either wire brush the numbers to be cleaner and post a new clearer picture, or just write them down here since you can probably see them better in person.

It's a 1991 318 C.I. or 5.2L V8
Original engine VIN code would've been a Y.

Scroll down this page to the 1991 section for a description of the difference with your block.

Default Thanks

Hello, thanks for the information.
How about tuning this 318?

Does anyone here done it before?

360 heads on it? Or not? Loss of compression but better flow

How about a bigger cam?

headers?
