I am unable to locate air filter under hood. Can anyone point out the location to change the filter? 2000 5,2

Remove engine cover on inside of van. Its inside the big black can on top of the motor.

I do not have a cannister under the hood. I have no way of opening from inside van. This is a 2500 ram van.

I am sorry. I did see two clips one on each side. Never knew this, so thanks for that info: Haven' opened it yet. How does it come out? Do you just pull it out after unclipping?t

2 clips plus maybe 4 bolted brackets on the floor as well. and then it just pulls back into the van.
