Hey You, the PCV valve seems to be damaged. there is no spring load and the little piston/ball inside is falling around loose. it's a $4 item at the local store so i get that tomorrow morning. Thank you

yep, i found it today and was "disappointed" for it being so small. i will change it as well and then going after each hose. would you recommend the propane method to check where the leak is? thanks a lot for your help!!!

forgot to mention. when starting the van, AC works. once engine gets warm or at higher RPMs, cold air stops and defrost goes at full speed.

defrost is the default mode for the vacuum system, when you are at a higher rpm, if there is a leak, it will always default to the defrost setting, if you go through the vacuum lines and the check valves, you will be able to fix it,,,good luck,,,
