2002 1500 with 3.9 no start

Hello, new to the forum here and very puzzled. We have a 02 1500 van we use a few times a year for moving and hauling stuff. Other day went out and it won't start, not even a click but battery is full and good. Under hood the relay box shows a slot for a starter relay but was empty so I went and bought one only to find out there is no contacts there to plug into. Is this normal? Did they relocate the relay? Or was my relay stolen and the slot damaged? Very curious as I did try the old school tap the starter with a hammer and try again. Nothing. Thanks for reading.

There *should* be a socket and relay for the starter...... Why someone would steal it is beyond me. Unless they were just being malicious. According to the diagrams, the relay get its power (for pin 30) from Fuse 5, 40 amp fuse......

*should* lol that sounds reassuring. I will take the relay box out and check inside in the morning it's getting dark now. Under the cover it shows the relay layout and was the only one not in place. Been a Mopar junkie my whole life since I was 15 and saw Phantasm. Had a 72 Challenger with a slant 6, 74 360 Cuda, 74 Satellite converted to RoadRunner with a 318 and a 72 Satellite with a 360. Then I went Mopar FWD and had every year model of a Daytona from 84 through a base 93. Driving a Town & Country for trips and the 1500 for working. The classic E and B bodies were all between 1990 and 1997 when I was younger and looking for something faster all the time. The Daytona's are a different story for another time but I do miss them.
planning to jack up the front so I can get under better to see the whole picture and check my starter wires and do the screwdriver trick on the solenoid to see. Not looking forward to opening up the relay box it looks like a challenge but I do need to know what's in there for the relay it has me very confused. Thanks for the help.

You can find wiring diagrams for your Van here. Yes, it's a russian site, but, I have been using it for years.
