Default It's not the headlight switch.

Your help is appreciated. I have tried headlight 3 headlight switches including the original. Right now I have headlights and high beams. Turn signals good. Hazards are just brake lights flashing. Parking lights go on when I slightly pull on the headlight ****. But go off when in its proper spot. No dash lights. So the 1984 dodge ram b250 is useless and night and it sure gets dark early. Help.

Were the 3 switches the same brand from the same supplier? If so, try a different brand from another supplier. I've seen batches that were no good, for whatever reason.

Default I should mention.

I had turn signals go out. The only problem the firestone mechanic fixed the turn signals but broke the parking lights and dashboard lights. He said it was the headlight switch but couldn't put it in.
obviously this clown was out of his league. I bought a headlight switch from napa. Installed it. Same problems
went to a much more established mechanic. Bulbs good wiring good. Fuses good. Try an original switch. I bought an original switch on ebay with all the original accessories. Installed it. Same symptons.
Im making firestone guy write down exactly what he did and bringing everything to the good mechanic.
Sir. Thank you for your attention.
