Submerged Exhaust

Submerged Exhaust
I've got an 05 ram 1500- 4x4
just purchased about two weeks ago...
long story short- it was submerged in mud/water for about 10 min (waiting for my buddy to come with his chain) it stalled once, and i immediately restarted the engine no problem. (while still in the mud hole) this was about 4 nights ago.
i had no problems immediately, but last night my engine light came on and it doesn't want to start up right away. and the first 30secs. - 1 min of running is shaky. I also noticed a white smoke once I got home and parked.
I obviously don't know much about the mechanics of the vehicle (hence me asking on a public forum)
any ideas? advice?
I plan on taking it in to my mechanic on monday- but i'd like to get some differing opinions.

i actually took it into the shop and the code is a cylinder 2 misfire....caused by a blown head gasket.
GREAAAT.
i've literally had the truck for about three weeks and the dealership says that blown head gaskets aren't covered under their 30day/1000 mile warranty.
They're worried i may have warped the heads, so i'm just waiting to hear back from the shop.
They also said that they don't think this had anything to do with me getting stuck with the exhaust submerged- because i had no water in my oil, so they're checking the thermostat first and going from there.
