TCM mod didn't impress me
 

I did the TCM mod the other day on my truck. Pulled the right wire (4th plug #7), it made a difference, but didn't impress me. Actually, it drove just my old '97 1500 5.9. Still couldn't catch second as someone claimed, and revved way too much for my comfort before shifting. Besides, I live in Louisiana (hence rain) and my wife drives the truck sometimes. I wouldn't want it getting out of control on her on a wet road.

I'm sure it is nice for some people, but without knowing what the long term effects are, I can't afford to take the chance$$$!

On another Dodge site, people are raving about this. I would be skeptical about doing it, though.:eek:
