Welcome to the Dodge Ram section.
Before you post your question, please use the search function.
If you cannot find the answer to your question, and you wish to post it, please use the appropriate main section (see below).
Every section has a technical section (main section) and a general discussion section. The general discussion section is for non-technical or opinion discussions (like "Here are pictures of my truck" or "What color should I pick for this..."). There is a link to the general discussion section at the top of every main section's page, clearly titled. There is also a DIY link next to the General Discussion section link, containing the most common problems/fixes. Please do not post in the DIY section.
If you create a new thread/post, please tell us your model year, engine size, 4x4 or 4x2, and as much other information as possible on each post, unless that information is in your signature (located in the User CP function, left most link in the black bar above). This will help us give suggestions and/or solve your problem(s) more quickly.
Please see below for an explanation of the different sections with links.
If you have a truck older than 1994, click here to go to that section.
If you have a 1994-2001 Ram 1500, or a 1994-2002 Ram 2500 with a gas engine, click here.
If you have a 2002 or 2003 Ram 1500 with the 5.9L V8 gas engine, you could post in either the 2nd Gen Ram (above) or 3rd Gen Ram (below) sections, as your truck has the 3rd Gen body but the 2nd gen engine/transmission.
If you have a 2002-2008 Ram 1500 or a 2002-2009 2500 with the 3.7L V6, 4.7L V8, or 5.7L HEMI V8 gas engines, click here.
If you have a 2009 or newer Ram 1500, or a 2010 or newer Ram 2500 with a gas engine, click here.
If you have a diesel engine, click here.
If you have a part or parts for sale, post it in the parts for sale section. You may post a link in the general discussion section to your parts thread in the parts for sale section, but do not post the parts for sale thread in any other sections. If you post items for sale in any other section except the for sale one, your thread may be moved or deleted without warning. Please see the sale section rules, located in a clearly titled thread at the top of the for sale section, before posting there.
Ignoring the above guidelines could result in your thread being moved to the correct section or deleted without warning. Repeatedly needing your threads moved will be treated the same as rule violations, with the same penalties.
