Default Sprinter RV's (NOT 56K friendly images)

Here's a few of these Sprinters out on the market. I must say though the best one we have seen is the Winnebago version.

Many Class-C RV's only get 18mpg at best. The Sprinter has placed the Class-C market into the 22~27mpg actual range depending on weight an options from various manufactures. The Sprinter is breathing new life back into the RV industy since fuel is now a killer for many.

AirStream has a Class-C Sprinter offering too! The Interstate ...

and the Airstream Westfalia. (it looks just weird.)

Sprinter Legend Gets 22-24 MPG depending on the options !!!

So far, these are the largest and heaviest Sprinters I have found as RV MH's and still, they get 17mpg!!!!

In Europe, the Sprinter has a bigger diesel engine, a V6 type.

Just look at the La Strada Class-C MH's !!!

The NOVA-L

The Regent-L (w/ a complete washing room with separate shower) Long wheel-base

The REGENT-S

What is even neater is seeing these in the Gallery! These vehicles are all over the world on long camping trips!!! US/Ireland/China

If you want another domestic North American Sprinter Class-C then check out ...

Even 22MPG loaded!!!

And now the BEST for last ... Winnie !

A nice reivew and on-the-road of the Winnie Itasca Navion can be found here. It's in this month's issue of FMC magazine.

PS, it has the standard rear axle of 3.71.

Default RE: Sprinter RV's (NOT 56K friendly images)

We've gone camping a few times this year. The Sprinter RV's are becoming a popular trend for the Class-C. There's a few around our area too. When the V6 turbo diesel becomes available, I would expect this vehicle to really rise in popularity for the RV crowd.

How about this,2006 RV off the year this side of the pond, based on the 416CDI twin wheeler, more info on http://www.auto-trail.co.uk Supprised we manufacture anything like this in the UK,thought all our stuff was euro-imported (westfalia etc).Weird of them to give as a slush-box us standard,(not popular with us stick wigglers!),but air con as an option, just cause we only get one day of summer over here(last thursday) these things are actually driven to hotter climes on a regular basis, just can't get my head round that one.
Anyhoo,this is the Auto-trail Grande-frontier.

or cheaper alternative, wait for one of these to be decomissioned(these things lead a hard life, especially in london.Driven round the clock,up to 6 different drivers a day,who all think Schumaker is a *****,i know ,after 16 years as a paramedic have had to sit next to some of these spanners, not for the faint hearted).

Stop press; they are putting the V6 tdi into the sprinters baby bro' the Vito, with 204bhp and a 0-60 time of 8secs,was considering downsizeing due to a new contract, this is good news!!!!

I'm off to the pub to celibrate, cheers all
