Default Tire width

So .. my tires on my car are going bad. my friend had a porshe that he ruined so he had 15 rims and wants to get rid of the tires... they r the same hidth but a little wider. Will they work on my stock rims?? I have a Base model with 15 rims. The tires r brand new and the cost him 750 $$ for all 4 and im gettin them 4 200$ so i hope they fit... plz tell me they fit.

depends on how much wider they are, i think stock 15" rims can go as far as 215 or 225(stock is 205\65-15). 245 would probably be too wide.

They should fit, but since they have a larger diameter, your speedo will not read accurately.

they should fit with no problems and speedo shouldn't be off any more than +/- 2 mph
they would be about 1/2" wider

if he had those tires on his car for more than 500 miles or so make sure that the tires been marked for which wheels they've been on and are put on the same side(tires from left side should go to left side)
