engine problems

Hey guys, I've been having trouble with my 93' stealth RT coup lately.
I noticed a few severed wires the other day, and I'm pretty sure it's the
cause of my problems. I'm not too car smart :/

Heres a picture of the severed wires

The wires are connected in the wiring rail, and the intake plenum, but I'm not sure exactly what the severed wires would be connected to..
One of my friends suggested replacing the harness, but I thought I'd ask here first for any support,
Sorry to be a bother, any help... helps :D

Thanks - RR

Those wires are connected to the solenoid that operates the motor that controls the valve for variable vein system in the intake runner. If this valve is not functioning properly, the engine will have less power at high rpms.
