ok so my 91 wont idle and has a check engine light and the way i was told to check the codes does not work and my computer is working like it should cause i had it shipped and looked at and there is no vacuum leak anywhere and no broken wires or anything so is there another way to check the codes besides with a analog volt meter. i might get a guy form a shop to come take a look but not sure. so if anyone has a way to check let me know asap. its the only thing left on the car to do besides smog it so any help is good
well i cant drive the car anywhere and only places here r Napa, car quest and O'Reilly which i will never use again cause there a big joke and any other place i have to tow it
napa should be able to read the code. they may be a big joke, but they can read your codes. Or you can buy an OBD I reader at any auto parts store usually.
well went to everyone up here and no one will read codes anymore. and i cant just go buy a code reader see what it says and return it. once that kinda stuff gets plugged in its yours for good and ya but im going to sale it or try and get a truck cause i need a truck more anyways but ya
ok so my buddy came over and tried to read the codes and nothing came up and i also pulled out the ideal air control valve and it works and no broken wires or anything but the car still dies and last night it died like as soon as i started it so idk any more but i need it running this week
