Default 1993 Dodge Stealth ES Exhaust

I own a 1993 Dodge Stealth ES with the 3.0L V6 24 valve engine and its currently stock right now. I love the way my car sounds and I would love to make it sound even deeper and a bit louder. Is there anyway to do this legally without removing the muffler? Someone once told me that a cold air intake system can give the car some tone! Is this true? Thanx for any help you can give me!

A flowmaster 40 series muffler will make it noticeably louder and have more of a grumble low in the rpms. Once it gets above 6000 rpms, it can sound a little raspy.
