$3000, has a rod knock. I'm thinking about buying it. The only thing that really bothers me is that green color, just doesnt fit a sports car IMO. What do you guys think.

Don't, I repeat, DO NOT GET IT.

I have seen 4 different stealth's and 3000gts that have a rod knock, and they throw a rod through the block after 5 miles, almost everytime. Unless that car is fixed on the spot, consider yourself dumping another 2.5k into engine work

Thanks for the heads up. I still gotta finish the Z32 to free up garage space anyway.

The reason I say that is because that rod is bent and is hitting up against the wall of the block (correct me if I am wrong anyone) and eventually it will snap within 2-3 miles and you will have to replace the block. Unless you have an engine block and are willing to put the time into replacing the rod and/or piston (if it requires replacement), I suggest leaving it alone. My little bro's 3000GT sat in the back yard for 7 months before he was able to make the time to get it up and running, and even then it required tearing out everything and putting it in his car from another wreck.
