well if it helps, what i did was go to cars.com and grabbed a vin off of a vr4 that matched my car and wrote down the vin. plus i tell the parts guy that the vin is not my actual car so he doesnt enter the parts into the system and screw the vr4 carfax up

haha ya, thanks for the advice there bro. Knowing me, I'd do somethign along that line.. but forget to tell teh parts guy xD. Hmm, so do you know if there's much room under the hood for expansion? I haven't gotten to look at too many hoodshots, so am not too sure if there is much room.

these are some of the best cars to build, they have 1000 horsepower potential. i ran mine at the track and pulled a 14.1103@96 mph with a 1.8 60 foot and that was bone stock with 130,000 miles on it. i just received my race downpipe with pre cat eliminators, hi-flow cat, and 3 inch piping with a magnaflow muffler. according to what i read it shoulg give me between 40-60 horse at the flywheel. im trying to finish it for wednesday so i can run it again. if youre looking to see if the car is upgradeable, go to 3sx.com, or dnperformance.com and check out the 3s listings. however there is one drawback to building these cars, the drivetrain is very expensive to replace, and parts are hard to get.

hah don't worry about it bro. I've been trying to thikn of somethign to do to it first once I get it that'll increase the performance for quite a bit at a lower cost, for once I DO get it. Although, I myself do'nt know how to do much w/ cars yet, but I've worked on a few and a good friend of mine is a head mechanic @ the age of 17.. so he's good. Any ideas? That and I'm planning on putting a new exhuast/muffler setup, because it's going to have to sound nice xD. Just don't know what I want to put in yet as far as that goes.

check out enhancedstreetperformance.com, for a downpipe. if you can afford it its only $300 dollars, and includes a front precat eliminator. when you go to put it on, you should hollow out the rear precat also. according to dn performance just doing this should net you 40 to 50 hp gain. pretty impressive since 91-93 had 300 hp stock.

wow.. I woudlnt mind spending $300 at all. I'll basically have about $700-$1000 to spend on just upgrading it. But ok, I'll keep that in thought. W/b the turbo. I've heard some people say that making it a single turbo will make it quite a bit faster. Does that sound right?

yes and no. with the twin set up, you get more cfm with smaller turbos. that also translates to less boost lag. true if you go single turbo you can fit a larger turbo into your engine bay, but spool up time is key. it all depends on what kind of driving you do. if your driving on the street, its bet to keep twin setup, that way your not dealing with major lag at every light, but if your going to race road courses and are going to be at high rpms for an hour or so, you dont have to woory about that. for drag if you can afford a stutter box and nitrous just to spool the turbo for launch than go with single, but personally i find the twins more reliable
