General R/T questions

Anyone drive their R/T in snow? How do they do?

What are common issues on the R/T with cars that have 50-100K on them?

ha, well due to the latest circumstances, i have to drive mine.... wife crashed her car, so she's using my ram, i'm stuck driving the stealth till it's fixed, anyways..... it sucks. i've got my 20's still on it, too cold to change em, so i just wash it every day. but i tell ya, it's great to get back into the car! it's like a mini rush passing the salt infested cars!

For the most part, what is listed in the buyers guide is the common problems these cars seem to have, other than general wear and tear from being 11+ years old.

Are you talking about the fwd RT or the awd RTTT. I have driven both of mine in the snow. Before I got new wheels on the RT, I had all season radials on it, it got around as good as any fwd car would. My new wheels came with summer tires. It doesn't get around nearly as good now. My TT gets around great with summer tires. You still have to be careful obviously, but the awd is awesome in snowy weather.

Oops, was talking about the TT. Not for me, a friend was asking me. I thought the TT would do decent in the winter, but then I though about the low ground clearance and and the crap hitting the front of the car [:@] Weather is not to bad here, usually you do not see more than 2-3 snow storms that pile up more than 6" inches at a time. Typical snow is 0"-4"at a time, which the gorund clearance should be good with, well as long as there is no drifting. We only have a couple inches on the ground now, but yesterday the wind was blowing up to 40MPH, had a 2' drift in my driveway.

I've driven my TT through 6+ inches of snow...and had a blast doing it. If it is not lowered, ground clearance isn't too much of an issue as the cars do sit pretty high (for a "sports car").
