TacoBoy: Wal-Mart does everything! come on now...you didn't know that? And they do it in the NE because i'm in PA,Scranton/Wilks-Barre area. Is there really really a difference between brands of synthetic oils? ex: Castrol and Valvoline???

The standing difference between oil brands is the additives they use and to what degree. I believe the actual refining/processing is pretty similiar regardless.

under 15 dollars what kind of oil do you get, filter?

I don't think i've ever spent under 20
At walmart, most likely some left over deep frier grease. And the mechanic probably rips off some of his shirt and stuffs it in your filter area.

not sure about where you live but somewhere has to be able to help you. I always go to the local pennzoil.. im from PA so i gotta use the good stuff. $30 and its splendid.

But even k-marts have garages I'm sure you can find a place. Or maybe just shove a quart in there and try and run your trip. It wont blow you up. Good oil can still run 5k although Im a firm believer in every 3k.
