Default How Much Should i be Charged

Today i put my 1997 dodge stratus on a diagnois test and it said i had to replace the EGR valve so how much should the shop charge to do that

Just guessing here - the part is about $100-$150 so probably around $200-$250. Again, that's just what I would guess. You can always call them.

it all depends on what engine you have. across the line the egr valve prices should be within the same price range, however the labor is different depending oin your engine. here is the labor times(motorguide time):
2.0 and 2.4 labor is .7hr
2.5 labor is .9hr

so the overall cost will depend on the labor rate at the place you go to and the prce of the part
