Default drum brake troubles EERRR! 98 w ABS

sisters 98 cirrus.
Initial problem: rear brake noise
Inspection: passenger side looks ok. drivers side severely and unevenlyworn and drum andshoes, wheel cylinders not retracting
correction: new shoes and drums on both sides. Loosenrusty brake hose mount on drivers side and passenger side as a precaution.

I should note, because I'm not sure if this has any bearing on the following problem, that before I replaced anything and before I checked the drivers side brake, I bled the passenger side because I thought thats were the noise was coming from. I did not bleed the drivers side whatsoever.

NEW PROBLEM: louder rubbing/grindingnoises than before.

Yes they are not frozen they were not retracting because of the pinched line caused by the rusty brake hose mount.

update. noises have died down now but there is a vibration. oh yeah and it has abs and I don't have that fancy scanner or whatever, does that mean I have to give up and bring it to a dealer?
