Angry Question about the factory rims on my 02 R/T

The center piece of the rim..(dodge emblem) broken loose today while I was washing the car. Can the center piece be replaced..(or the piece that held the emblem in place) or am I looking at buying a new rim?

Thanks

I assume you're talking about the center cap?
There should be like a little retainer spring that holds it in. If you need to buy a new one, I found some here....

EDIT: Damn, link doesn't go directly to the part. Just enter your car year/make/model, then click on "wheels", then click "covers and trim", then "wheel cover", then "retainer".

Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming I can access this cap after removing the rim?

if you have a coupe, then yes...take the wheel off, and inside the center cap there is a spring clip that holds it in..

Probably cheaper at a Mitzi dealer, as anything that can be swapped between a Strat and an Eclipse is. But I think they are only a buck or two.

the wheel centers from the mitsu dealership would have the mitsu logo on them rather than the ram...if theyre interchangeable...

That pisses me off so bad. OR how there is NO aftermarket for our cars, and everything is just different enough for the mitsu crap to not work.
