Default Recomendation on Exhaust Setup fo 2.7L V6

I have narrowed my exhaust search down to two setups. Both would be single 3 inch pipe systems from cat back. The first would have a high flow resonator with a high flow muffler something that is chamberless. The second option would be no resonator with a muffler with a little more restriction. Any recomendations and if so what muffle would you use.

Thanks

Mine is running custom headers, no muffler and just the factory resonator. Sounds really good. Its got a different sound. V8 at idle, not sure how to explain the sound in the revs but its unlike anything on the road. Just eliminating the muffler creates a good sound but its kind of annoying when cruising. The header resonator no muffler set up sounds way better and isn't annoying when cruising. Neither set up is overly loud.

Just finished the custom exhaust. When i got the car on the lift i realized that my intial plan of just a cat-back was not going to work so i ran a 2.5inch pipe from the headers back and i have a 3 inch resonator with backfire scoops. And then at the end a custom made high flow muffler. The sound that i am getting out of it is awesome. I was afraid that the setup would make it sound to ricey, but with the resonator on it it sounds real nice. Should be getting some pics up tonight and hopefully a video of it soon. Thanks for tip smokesxt.

It sounds like crap. Total rice boy exhaust. Take that junk off and put on a stock muffler or at least a quiet flowmaster.
