So me and my wife have recently bought a second car.... for her. So since 'our' Dodge Stratus is now MY Dodge Stratus, I decided that I would still be saving money if I did a complete overhaul of the vehicle to bring it back to prime condition, and I would feel excited about owning it.

So I'm beginning my journey with some simple cosmetic work before I go on to repair the transmission along with some minor repairs.

What I want to do now is remove the badges, and create a custom badge for the back, where it now says "STRATUS". But first, I wanted to know if the lettering in the badges have posts in them, or can I just take some fishing wire, remove the adhesive and be done with it?

So, anyone who has removed the badges for their Stratus, please let me know what you found beneath the surface.
