Default oil in coolant

1999 Dodge Stratus w/ 2.4 Coolant pooring out from passenger side I assume its a water pump. But has oil in resevoir. and when i filled it to see where it was coming from you could see that the oil was starting to get into the coolant again. Where is the oil coming from ?
Thanks

Default oil & coolant mix

Usually that means a head gasket leak.

Check to see what the oil on the dip stick look like. If it is milky you probably have a head gasket leak, or a cracked block. If it is just the overflow bottle it can also be the head gasket, but the oil on the dip stick looks normal. You can pressure test the cooling system to see if it holds pressure. With a leaking water pump it definitely won't hold pressure. In either case I would suspect the head gasket is blown and allowing compression to be blown into the cooling system.
