2006 dodge stratus will not start. code reader says it had a crankshaft pos sensor malfunction so I replaced it. still car will not start and stores same code. what can I check next? im a single parent and cannoy afford to take it to a dealer and as everyone already knows being without a vehicle sucks.

 

what code are you getting , check wiring , connections ,battery voltage / starter sometimes can cause a crankshaft code, camshaft sensor could be bad sometimes if ones bad may throw a code for other(read somewhere), damaged pulse ring(where sensor picks up signal), possibly broken timing belt ,or bad pcm
