Default Right lower control arm and cv axel

I have a 06 dodge stratus 2.4 liter and when I pulled into my drive way it stopped suddenly and my tire was flat so I took my tire off and a metal peace had flew off of the rotor and hit my rim and caused a hole in my rim and broke the lower control arm , I have a new lower control arm my question is that meatal piece that broke off in between my rotor and castle nut am I going to have to replace that or can I drive it with just the new lower control arm on it ? I think that metal piece is my brake splash im not sure

A picture would help. Hard to say if it’s safe to drive otherwise.
