Hi needing help finding resetting or unsticking brake proportioning valve in 2002 stratus 2.4. Asked mechanic for written estimate knew it was more than brake pads. So he does $800 of work without even a phone call and I just wanted to know exact problem so my son in law could fix it. Now the mechanic says valve is stuck needs diff one. Salvage yards won’t sell because of safety issue. Can’t ding one except Detroit for $200! Can it be reset rebuilt? Is there one available from a different car that would work? Anyone???
