steering wheel stereo controls

Just bought an 03 Stratus R/T but the steering wheel stereo system controls are not working. Can anyone help me troubleshoot and repair this problem ? Thanks

Need more info. Is is a factory or aftermarket head unit? Checked the fuses? Do you know the history of the car?

steering wheel stereo system controls

It's a factory infinity 4 disk CD with amp under passenger seat. I believe it is 275 watts , I don't have an owner's manual so I don't know where to start including the fuses everything on the wheel works except the stereo system controls. Thanks
