tips on buying used viper

Hey im thinking of buying used. Viper within 30.000$ to 35.000$ most likely 94 96 yr range what should I look for in terms of durability and quality of car do not want to grt ripped off.. I have only owned dodge since I could drive I would apreciate any tips
