yea you'll need to find out the brand cuz it's hard to tell by just looking at the wheel. If I had to say, it's going to be similar baja champ 185.




Only thing is, they do not make this wheel in 16x9.25. sooo, you'll need more info from the guy.

 

Can't you just ask the guy what rims they are or does he not know?

 

remember guys hes in canada so the money ratio is diff....id say offer a grand and see if hell bite if not up it by a hundo at a time....they are used and emphasize used when buying them.....if you think its a good deal jump on it.....theyll look good on your truck....

 

I've only talked with him on the "web" so far. I hagled down his price...BUT,..ever since I brought up "the brand of the wheels"/ could he tell me where he got them...so I could bring them up on the "web",...he hasn't gotten back to me...3-days now. Pretty fishy for a guy who's leaving town on "Sunday" for the winter!...figure he'd be in more of a hurry. (I think he wanted me to pay the $1100.00,.. not checking out the rims to find out???? thyat they're cheap?...

 

Worst case scenario you can get about the same deal at www.ntwonline.com ,the one I showed you in my previous post. They had mine mounted and balanced and on my door step in 3 buisness days. I paid 1550 for my wheels and tires but you could get setup cheaper than that if you look aroung thier site,sometimes they have special purchase wheels/tires that they sell really cheap. I'll bet you could get a set for around $1000,mounted balanced and shipped if you look hard enough.

 

Yeah,..thanks guys. I think they are the "Ultra's",...because I found out they are the 16" x 8" wide Baja Champ type 185 wheels...they cost $99.00 each "brand new"...the BFG's are $800.00 "brand new"...this guy was trying to get his purchase price back for "used" equipment. I found a great site for "tire/wheel combo's,... I'm just gonna get brand new...that way I can pick out a better looking wheel. Thanks for the input guys.

yup some douchbag trying to scam somebody hoping they do the research first before they buy....kinda like the s/c i was looking at ill bet and put money on it that thing was locked because its still on c/l and has been for a few months starting at 250 and now down to 125....hmmmmmm glad i didnt pull that trigger....good choice isssy glad you questioned it......

Glad to see that you didn't get hosed on the SC. It is always a crap shoot with buying stuff on CL. It is a shame that there are a few dishonest guys out there that try to rip honest people off.
