man that is a tough call. If it had a hemi I would say hell yeah! I just am not completely feeling these new trucks yet. Don't get me wrong I have seen some heavily modded trucks that look awesome, but I am not diggin it...yet!
With that being said! If you like this new truck better than yours, then go for it, it looks like a really clean truck, and seams like a pretty good price for a new truck. Mileage is a lil high, but if you don't drive much you can get that in line. So hey it is up to you man! LOL how is that for dancing around a subject!
EDIT: I just noticed in the picture of the rear, passenger side on the bumper above the exhaust, it is staining the bumper. Something is wrong if a gas motor that new is burning that rich to stain the bumper. it might have something to do with why he traded it so soon!

I think the new Rams that are crew cab look like they have a stumpy bed because the cab is so long. I'm more a fan of the quad cabs in the new Rams.
SMKN, I'll have a report for you after I get the air gap installed and run a tank or two of gas through my truck. I remember you asking about them and I ordered one the other day.
I took my throttle body off to put a modified one on there and noticed a puddle in the intake and it made me mad enough to order the air gap because I just changed that gasket a few months ago. zman told me that it was from the PCV valve (and he knows his way around a motor pretty good), but it seems like too much oil for it to be just from that in just a few thousand miles.

sounds good man! but my MODS have been put on hold!! My ex-wife is stirring up a bunch of **** and I just had to shell out more on an attorney than I was planning on spending on the truck! On top of that my daughter is getting married in a week and a half! Man this summer is gonna SUCK!!! I had big plans for the truck this summer too!

[QUOTE=VEETEN;2157509]Well the lady said that I was under 6000# so I got the standard passenger plate she said weighted start at 7000# if I would like that, or could go higher.
Needless to say I was a bit confused.
My registration says shipping weight is 5586# is this the tare weight of my truck?
I guess I can't have more that 2 people in my truck LOL
FK I wonder if you're 06 is listed as over 6000 "Shipping weight"...Check it out and let me know.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say my Quad cab 4wd 488 is heavier than the average dodge here...Not exactly a light duty version..
(Maybe Meanwhite mopar has me beat with the weight of his suspension/tires..) LOL
I'm still confused.
As long as I figure it out by next June.
Thanks guys
Oh yeah it was $51.60 for my plates.....WTF[/QUOTE
well i saw this and had to chime in.. lol my truck stock weighed 6400 shipping. with that said, i have regular tags. since i put the lift, and everything else heavier then stock in this thing.. i have no idea what this truck weights.. i know my tires are about 55lbs a peice. and i added alot of stuff... lol i have gone to the junk yard with a bed load of steel and bull****, and they wieghed me in at 9400 when i was stock in NY.. so 10K isnt that far out of reach... that was with me and one other person in the truck..
i dont know anything about weighted plates, but has anyone maybe googled it? ncdot.gov?

but on a lighter not.. we all need to go get muddy around the j-ville/ moorehead/ havelock area.. i still have not met any of you guys and i think it is what will bring this club together..
or maybe just a meet and great at like hooters or something.. show of some of the truck.. somethin..
but it is going to get out sooner or later.. everyone will be sad, i just about totaled the truck.. i rolled it to its side. broke my mirror, rear window, dented the fenderm passengers door, rear door, and the rest of the bed.. so im lookin for a new set of panels if anyone can ask around if they are gettin rid of some of these... mainly a bed for cheap... i dont really care what color.. i can find someone to help paint.. this will be my next on going project. fix all the dents in the truck.. and get it repainted.
