Should I color match?
Hey everyone I need your help on something.
I want to add a Lund wiper cowl, ventshades, and a shadeblade to my truck, but what should I do? |
RE: Should I color match?
I'd say Smoke since lots of people paint to match... if the accessories are done right, they can look spectacular and smooth as accents. If painted red, they blend in and at times it can looks 'bulky' to me. Now I'm not saying it would look bad painted to match... but I just would prefer Smoke. :)

RE: Should I color match?
See that's been my problem, trying to figure out which would look better. I actually think both would look good.

RE: Should I color match?
If it is painted, from a distance it will make it look odd or like it's messed up. Besides, if you leave it as is you won't have to worry about nicks/chips or flaking of the paint.[sm=smiley2.gif]

Very good point you have there roadrunner.

RE: Should I color match?
I'd say leave it. It would probably look better.

RE: Should I color match?
yeah, leave it smoked, black looks good anywhere. black and chrome anyways.

RE: Should I color match?
I'd say don't put them on at all, they look stupid. Spend your loot on something good, like exhaust, performance chip, supercharger, port & polish, cams, etc. Nobody's ever beed to a car show and said "those are the coolest ventshades I've ever seen" or "man, it's a good thing that truck has those fly ventshades on it otherwise it would look like crap" throw that wack Lund catalog you got at Auto Zone in the trash.

RE: Should I color match?
Hey, it's YOUR truck, do what YOU want. Black/grey are neutral colors and go with anything....[sm=smiley20.gif]
