Well finally have the dreaded, undescribable rear end noise out of my 2004 ram,lsd. happens when accelerating from a stop, and goes away,not to be heard again for a few thousand miles. removed the differential cover today , both the clips are still on the clutches, and no metal whatsoever back there. I have two questions, 1. is there a new style of clip to put in there for peace of mind, and 2. what could be causing this noise??
